    A family-owned business established in 1989 by Peter and Birgitta-Hedin Curtin. The Burren Smokehouse are artisan producers of smoked Irish salmon, mackerel, trout, cheese. There are several facets to the business, in so far as they deliver quality smoked fish to the retail and catering trade, they offer national and international web order business, and also sell to passing trade in their craft and gourmet shop and visitor centre in Lisdoonvarna.
