We provide learning experiences to enhance the public’s understanding of farming and demonstrate how food can be produced in a sustainable way. These include: Adult learning workshops – in three broad areas: horticulture, eco-building, food and cookery; Children’s activities – including Forest School, vegetable growing and theatre workshops; School visits – primary and secondary; Employee volunteering/team building.   Why learn with us? The Farm is a real-life example of community-owned organic agriculture; Specialists in particular areas of expertise lead our workshops and visits, be they our own staff or carefully-selected tutors; Many of our workshops and activities are ‘hands-on’, so you can learn by doing; Learning takes place in the setting of a working farm, so it is easier to see how what you learn might be applied in the real world; We are located in beautiful surroundings overlooking Chew Lake; We have a purpose-built yurt for the indoor elements of our workshops and visits; there are also toilets, hand-wash, and tea and coffee-making facilities; The farm provides an opportunity for you to socialise with other members of your community.   Also offers box scheme for local delivery
