We believe everyone should have access to healthy, affordable food that’s good for people and planet. This means transitioning to a food system and diet with local, seasonal, organic, plant-based foods at its core.
In our beautiful recycled kitchen we teach vital food growing, cooking and composting skills. Our program covers everything from basic plant based cookery skills to sugar free baking, preserving, bread making, foraging and making your own non-toxic homemade cosmetics.
We deliver fun, inspiring and informative cookery and preserving classes using produce from Growing Communities veg box scheme to community groups such as teen carers, adults in rehab programs, new parents, low income families, young people excluded from school, young people in care, local food growers and anyone else with a desire and need to learn about healthy sustainable food.
Amazing local volunteers run our pay-by-donation Community Classes on bi-weekly Sundays where new skills such as lactic fermenting, sour dough bread making, home herbalism, Rastafarian Ital food cookery and much more is taught in a fun, relaxed environment.
Our program of Masterclasses are led by holistic chefs, herbalists and nutritionists and feature everything from raw food, live cultures and ferments, homemade cosmetics, vegan baking and much more.
